San Miguel Chapel, San Miguel Acapantzingo, Morelos, Mx.
 

     San Miguel Acapantzingo is a colonia or area of Cuernavaca, Mexico. It was originally an independent pueblo (town) before being incorporated into Cuernavaca. It is the colonia in which the editor currently lives. The San Miguel Chapel is located across the street from a popular lush botanical garden and indigenous herb museum. The chapel is open during the day and is an ideal site for meditation and rumination.

Emiliano Zapata (1879 - 1919) rose from humble beginnings to become a hero of the Mexican Revolution. The Mexican Revolution (1910 - 1920) was a class struggle and civil war in Mexico generally pitting the poor campesinos against the oppressive regime of Mexican dictator Porfirio Diaz. Zapata is especially revered in Morelos, Mexico, the place of his birth.
